David Harting
Pastor
I am David Harting and I am Senior Pastor here at AUMC. I am married to my wife Brenda, who is a school counselor here in Campbell County schools. We have two boys who are both grown and married, we have a daughter who is in medical school and we have two daughters ages 12 and 9. Brenda and I have fostered 17 children over the past 7 years. I have been in ministry for 20 years and this is our third full-time appointment. Brenda and I both come from South Eastern Illinois and have parents that still live there. We like to camp and be outdoors. We love spending time with family and friends. And most importantly we love to serve the Lord in all we do. One of our claims to fame is that we appeared on Family Feud for four games.

Aimee Blythe
Youth
Hello, My name is Aimee Blythe. By day, I am a Systems Manager in the healthcare supply chain. By night, I am the Youth Pastor here at AUMC. My husband, Brandon also volunteers his time to serve Youth at our Church. We have an amazing son, Ethan who wants to be a full time Pastor one day. Our whole family has a heart for the hurting and the lost and we love to serve others. We are blessed to be apart of such an amazing church family, with so many wonderful youth.
If you have a child in 6th-12th grade, we would love to see them in Sunday school with us, or during our Youth services Sunday nights. They will be welcomed with loving arms, learn about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and have lots of fun in the process. We also do Community Outreach so your youth can learn how they can share the love of Christ with others in our community by serving them.

Craig Blythe
Youth and Sound Room
I wear many Hats at AUMC. On Sunday Mornings you can usually find me in the Sound Booth working Sound and Video for the morning Service, although sometimes you may see me singing or playing my Djembe (hand drum) in the Praise Band.
I also lead a Sunday School small group and the Worship Committee, but my true passion is helping youth students know the Love, forgiveness, and saving grace of Jesus.
I am married to the love of my life Cheryl, and have a college age daughter Courtney and Son Noah, who both serve in the Church. My wife and I have been serving in youth ministry at AUMC for 24 wonderful years
I am blessed to be able to serve in youth ministry with my wife Cheryl and best friend Ray.
I am also a Maintenance Technician at Frischs Restaurants, and am a co-owner of Flatworks Gaming we create and publish tabletop, board, and Card games
My favorite Bible Verse
Romans 8:39-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Debra Wallace

I graduated from Miami University in 2001 and have since received 2 Masters degrees from NKU. My husband Jim and I have been married since 2006 and live here in Alexandria with our daughter Kaci.

Melissa Martin
Music Director and Pianist
Hello! My name is Melissa Martin, most people call me Missy. I have been on the staff here at AUMC since July 2018. I am happy to use my gifts of music to serve at our church. I am the pianist, choir director, and special music coordinator. I'll gladly help with any music needs you have. Brian and I are always looking for more participants!

Brian Myers
Praise Band and Young Adult
My name is Brian Myers, Worship leader at Alexandria UMC
I am 35 years old and work for a computer refurbishing company in Latonia.
As worship leader here I do more than just shred on the guitar and sing like an Angel though. I get to work with and educate an amazing team of students in how to play, sing, prepare for service, and glorify God through their talents.
I also co-lead our college class "Thrive" with our pastors daughter Bethany Harting. We have been working with these students on "discipleship" a fancy word for living out your faith walk with God in real ways with your family and community in an effort to bring others to salvation.
I love rock climbing, wood working, hiking, basketball, and bo-staff training! Like Donatello from the Ninja Turtles.
Come hang with us at AUMC! Hope to see you soon!
