Christian Education classes-
“The Wesley Class”
The Wesley Class is an adult class studying God’s word through scripture. Class participation is encouraged. The teachers are Glen Ravenscraft during our warm months with Jon Losey and Greg Rath sharing during the winter months. Join us and bring your bible.
“Don’t just be alive, THRIVE”
The Thrive class is led by Eric Jenkins and Bethany Harting for young adults that are high school juniors and older. The group is formed on the basis that we are meant for more than just going through the motions of life, we are meant to thrive wherever God places us. We will meet on Sunday mornings. There will be other events outside of this time for those out of high school. The goal is to become a community of believers similar to the early church in Acts.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone is filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God, and enjoying the favor of the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”-Acts 2:42-47(NIV)
Come join us on this journey of cultivating a community that intentionally grows through study, prayer, communication, fellowship, and service. All are welcome and we hope to see you there!
If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to Eric Jenkins at email@example.com or Bethany Harting at Bethany.firstname.lastname@example.org
Daily Living Sunday school class
Studies include the Bible, historical content, and current Christian movies.
The class is taught in video style, with questions, answers and discussion from class always at the heart of the presentation.
This class is comprised of both couples and singles.
We are all called to connect. To connect with God, to connect with each other, to connect to our church, to our family, and to our community. We connect to grow and mature. We connect to encourage and help each other. We connect to grow closer to our friends, our spouse, our kids, our parents, and our brother and sisters. I believe that comes through a small group of friends who get together and talk, study, and learn new and different ways to see scripture from each other and to help us reconnect. Please join Brenda Harting and Craig Blythe as we start the Connection Class. We will be looking into class studies like Crazy Love by Francis Chan and Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman, but also getting into new ones such as Jim Cymbala’s When God’s Spirit Moves. Jim also did Fresh Wind Fresh Fire. We want this class to be interactive with discussion and proactive in prayer and listening to one another. If you are looking for a class, please come and check us out.
BIBLE YES 2:28
The name of the new bible class for youth ages sixth grade through 10th grade is BIBLE YES 2:28 and is led by Ray Hodge.
Bible, youth engaged in scripture.
Yes, youth engaged in scripture.
2:28, that’s what time God gave me the name for this group.
The world doesn’t believe that the Bible is the Word of God. They say it’s just a book. But something happens to this book when you put your trust in Jesus. This book comes alive. This book becomes God.
We will be looking deeper into the sermon and scriptures that Pastor David preaches on each week. From time to time, we will discuss different topics as we seek gods guidance. We will be using our Bible’s and Bible based video’s to help us get closer to each other and to God.
Youth, I am so excited about our new Bible study.
BIBLE YES 2:28
Parents, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share the most incredible gift I’ve ever been given, Jesus Christ, with your youth. I am humbly honored to do so.
