Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

There are plenty of opportunities!
We are always seeking volunteers to help within the church
but we also serve outside of the church.
We host Bingo at Carespring the first Tuesday of the month at 6:15 pm.
We make mats for the homeless once bi-monthly.
We serve at Hosea House twice a year.
We help host for Family Promise several times a year.
We gather items and pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child every year.
We also work with a local elementary school to fill  backpacks so children have food on weekends.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

We also have opportunities to help serve in the church on Sunday. We always need help with ushers and greeters as well as communion servers.  Our nursery  and children's church is another area to volunteer your time.
There is also our Praise band and our Sound and Video room which is also looking for help. No experience is needed, we love to train!

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

To sign up for a volunteer opportunity, click the sign up link.
We also have sign up sheets on the bulletin board in the church hallway outside sanctuary.

How do I volunteer with Kids or Youth?

To volunteer with these areas you must have a background check performed,  take out Safe Sanctuaries class, and be a church participant for 6 months. We do this for our children and youth's safety. To get started on this process, see Debra Wallace our Children's Director.

How do I volunteer with music?

We have our Praise Band run by Brian Myers that meets at 9am on Sunday mornings.
Want to help but don't have the vocals, we are always looking for help behind the
scenes with sound and video production with Craig Blythe and Greg Beagle.
If you would like to perform a special music, see Missy Martin to arrange time to  practice.
